Q. What is Cougar Pride Day?

Cougar Pride Day is a day to show your support and pride for Collegiate by making a gift to the Annual Fund during this 24-hour period. Cougar Pride Day will encourage participation from alumni, parents and friends and will include a number of exciting challenges!

Every gift, no matter the size or designation, makes a huge difference as we come together with pride to keep Collegiate’s flame burning bright.

Q. When is Cougar Pride Day?

This year, Cougar Pride Day will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.

Q. Who can participate?

Everyone! Alumni, parents, students, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends - let’s come together to support Collegiate on Cougar Pride Day.

Q. How do I make a gift?

Q. Why should I participate on Cougar Pride Day? What can I say to encourage others?

Gifts of all sizes provide the critical support that Collegiate needs to further enhance the student experience, provide our faculty and staff with the tools they need to succeed, and so much more. To make a gift means that you share pride in Collegiate and want to keep our School strong.

We have some fun challenges planned throughout the day to spur friendly competition and keep everyone engaged! Sharing challenges and your reasons to support are both great ways to encourage others to give.

Q. Does my previous support this fiscal year count on Cougar Pride Day?

Gifts made prior to Cougar Pride Day do not count in participation totals for this 24-hour campaign. The matching incentives and challenges promoted are specific for gifts made on Thursday, April 29, only.

Many alumni, parents and friends choose to make a second gift on this day to show their Pride for all things Collegiate.

Q. Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. Once you make a gift, you will receive an email gift acknowledgment along with a tax receipt. If you have any questions about the tax-deductibility of your gift, please consult with your tax professional or accountant.

Q. Can I designate my gift?

Of course! Collegiate’s primary goal is to raise unrestricted support for the Annual Fund, which allows the School to quickly respond to pressing community needs. Unrestricted support is the highest priority for Collegiate and provides important budgetary support.

We are also continuing our efforts to invest in outdoor learning spaces. As was announced in February during the Winter Party & Auction, students in the Middle and Upper Schools have been engaged in a student-initiated design thinking challenge, which involves conducting research and creating prototypes in partnership with alumni and other professionals. This project is underway and the outcome will be design options of an exciting outdoor learning space for all our students, JK-12.
